How do we show diversity in Agriculture if all we do is vilify the different practices and thoughts within Agriculture?

If everyone is the same there is no diversity. We want – like – select uniformity in calves, pigs, lambs, even bales of hay. Group competitions such as Get of Sire, exhibitor herd, meat pens reward the ability to get a group of uniform animals. Yet people aren't fitting in those uniform descriptions. All are different. Some are widely different – much as the Highland cow is different from a Simmental and that's different from a Jersey. If everyone has, produces, and does the same thing it'd be boring and not allow for choice.
